Quranic Arabic Course (6 Months, Live on Zoom)
Beginner-friendly · Live on Zoom · 6 months
In short
- One course, 6 months, taught live on Zoom by Sir Abdurrahim.
- For learners aged 15 and above who can read the Qur’an. Classes in Hindi, Urdu or English.
- Goal: understand what you recite in Namaz and follow the verses of the Qur’an through their grammar.
- Not a spoken-Arabic course. Start with a free trial class.
The Quranic Arabic Course is the one course we teach at QuranEasy. Over six months it takes you from reading the Qur’an without understanding to recognising how its words and sentences work, so the meaning reaches you from the Arabic itself.
Who the course is for
- Anyone aged 15 or above who can read the Qur’an (Nazra). You do not need to know any Arabic.
- Students, working professionals, homemakers and retirees. Many learners join alongside a full-time job.
- Learners in India and in every other country: classes are online, and batch timings are shared when you enquire.
- Speakers of Hindi, Urdu or English (classes in Hindi and Urdu).
What you will be able to do after 6 months
- Understand every phrase you say in your Namaz, word by word (see the phrases).
- Tell nouns, verbs and particles apart, and read the endings that show each word’s role.
- Break a verse into its parts: subject and predicate, doer and object, possessive phrases and pronouns.
- Recognise the root and pattern of a word, so one root opens a whole family of words.
- Use translations and word-by-word resources with confidence, because you can see the grammar behind them.
How the six months are organised
The course moves in three stages. Sir Abdurrahim sets the exact pace for each batch, so some groups spend longer on a stage than others.
Stage 1 · The grammar of your Namaz
The three kinds of words, al- and tanwīn, gender and number, the three case endings, prepositions, possessive phrases and pronouns, all learned on the words you already say in prayer and on Surah al-Fatiha.
Stage 2 · Sentences and verbs
Nominal and verbal sentences; past, present and command verbs; how prefixes and suffixes show who does an action; the root system; particles that change the meaning of a sentence.
Stage 3 · Reading the verses
Short sūrahs and selected passages read with the grammar in view: word order for emphasis, verb patterns, vocabulary in context and checking your understanding against translations.
The full topic list is on the course syllabus page, and the basics are explained in Quranic Arabic grammar basics.
